How do you ensure material traceability from mill to finished part?
Every incoming raw material batch is logged with a unique lot number in our ERP system that links to the original heat number, MTR, CMM inspection results, and production traveler. This provides complete forward and backward traceability — from finished part back to the original mill batch.
What inspection equipment is used for dimensional validation of titanium parts?
Our in-house metrology lab is equipped with a ZEISS CMM (bridge-type, 1.9 μm volumetric accuracy), OGP SmartScope optical comparators, and Mitutoyo SJ-410 surface roughness testers. For material verification, we use a SPECTROMAXx Optical Emission Spectrometer for rapid PMI analysis. NDT capabilities include fluorescent dye penetrant (FPI) and ultrasonic (UT) testing. All inspection equipment is calibrated per ISO 17025 traceable standards with calibration certificates available on request.
